Welcome to Cheadle Hulme Gardening Society

The Cheadle Hulme Gardening Society is a club for members and visitors interested in gardening and other elements of horticulture. We hold monthly meetings at the Parish Rooms, Church Road, Cheadle Hulme, SK8 7JB, with talks on matters of interest to gardeners, trips out to places of interest, coffee mornings with plant sales, open gardens and the occasional short holiday. Visitors are  always welcome.

Our guest speakers show a wealth of information on their topic, illustrating their talk with slides and often plants for sale. Refreshments provided and a raffle held.

Our yearly quiz is a popular event, prizes for the winners and losers!

In Spring and Autumn we hold a Saturday coffee morning and plant sale. There is also the opportunity to buy books, jigsaws, cakes and handmade cards.

We plan three trips throughout the year to a variety of gardens, houses, and places of interest.

The four day holiday in July is always popular, next year being Wisley and Hampton Court.
